Salapat is a place where people who OWN camera and video gear lend it to people who want to RENT it for a few days. Think of it like borrowing a bike from a friend, but for cameras — and everyone stays safe because our team checks the money and helps if something goes wrong.
IF YOU WANT TO RENT SOMETHING
1. Look around. Browse the gear and open anything you like.
2. Pick your days and press "Request to book". The owner says yes or no.
3. When they say yes, you pay by bank transfer and upload a photo of the slip. Our team checks it.
4. Meet the owner, get the gear, and go create something awesome.
5. Bring it back on time. Done — you can leave a star rating.
IF YOU WANT TO EARN BY LENDING YOUR GEAR
1. Press "List your equipment" and add photos, a price per day, and where you are.
2. When someone asks to rent it, you approve the dates.
3. After they pay, hand it over. Take a photo of the gear so everyone knows its condition.
4. When they bring it back and it is fine, we send your money to your bank.
WHY IT IS SAFE
- We hold the renter payment and only pay the owner after the gear comes back okay.
- Every payment is checked by a real person, not a robot.
- You can add protection (like a safety net) in case the gear gets damaged or lost.
- Renters and owners rate each other, so good people are easy to find.
